The IWC’s Whales Tale Water Camp offers an engaging and educational experience for children to become “water smart” through the Red Cross Whales Tales program. This camp is designed to impart essential water safety skills across various environments, from pools to oceans. With nine comprehensive lessons, children will explore both in-water activities and STEM-themed crafts and experiments that reinforce safety concepts learned. Led by Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors, the camp ensures expert guidance and a fun learning atmosphere. Each day includes approximately an hour of pool time, ensuring practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge. Parents can enroll their children for a single day or the entire week, making it a flexible option for summer fun. Participants should come equipped with a towel, swimsuit, and lunch to fully enjoy the activities.
